Early morning rain gave way to good conditions for our match against Oxfordshire at Sonning. The golf course was in good condition with the fairway watering definitely making a difference to the course during this dry weather. The greens were in excellent condition, however the location of the bunkers caused problems for some of the players!
The tasty meal of chicken & bacon Caesar Salad was appreciated.
Unfortunately Oxfordshire could only field 10 players, so our last two groups played against each other.
Oxfordshire were the better team winning 3 1/2 to 1 1/2.
