The course no doubt benefitted from the rain and occasional downpour during the match against the Berkshire Ladies Captains Golf Society at Castle Royle!
The green fairways were a welcome sight after the dry conditions and the greens were in good condition although running slower than expected, unfortunately the numerous bunkers caused a challenge for some of the Ladies!
The tasty meal of Pork Schnitzel and Lemon Meringue Tart was appreciated.
We had a comprehensive victory of 5 1/2 to 2 1/2 against the Lady Captains Team.
