The course at Mapledurham was in excellent condition although the speed of the greens took some getting used to!
It was almost too hot and sunny at the beginning, clouding over later, but we all managed to finish playing without getting too wet from the ensuing thunderstorm and torrential rain.
The tasty meal of Lasagne, Salad & Garlic Bread was appreciated.
Unfortunately, the Lady Captains were better on the day resulting in a loss of 5 to 2.
